About Peter Brown
Traveling has always been a big part of my life. I love to explore. Having ventured extensively around the South Pacific Rim and other parts of the world, I prefer a backpack to a suitcase, a hostel to a hotel and a street vendor to a white tablecloth. As I enter each new client engagement, I treat it as a new adventure—diving headfirst into the place and digging up the stories that make each place unique.
Expertise
With a background that relies heavily on both sides of my brain, I thrive in the transformation of information into something useful, usable and beautiful. As a designer, I focus on balancing a beautiful and functional design. As a trained researcher, I focus on results, usability and thoughtful hierarchy and architecture.
At the end of the day, I’m like a creative archeologist: I don’t create the stories we tell about each place, but I unearth them, carefully brushing away the dust and showcasing them to your target audience.
Places He Loves
While traveling in Japan, I was told that there are two fools in this life: one who never climbs Mt. Fuji and one who climbs it twice. Being on the summit of a massive
volcano—whose iconic silhouette has been one of the strongest and most repeated icons in all of Japanese culture—to watch the sunrise with hundreds of Japanese adventurers is an experience that is impossible to put into words. Don’t miss it.
A Success Story
My clients have won IEDC’s best website award five of the past seven years. I’m always proud to watch our team help clients win such a coveted award.
