About Lucy Hansen
From as far back as I can remember, I've always craved exploring new places. Whether discovering new paths in the woods of Iowa or impulse booking trips to South America, I love a good adventure. As part of the Atlas team, I not only get to discover new communities, but I also get to help bring communities to life through visual design and information architecture.
Expertise
A true jack of all trades, I am always ready for what comes next. I am primarily a graphic designer, working with Peter on website and advertising design, but I am also a wanna-be tech nerd. I've been able to help the tech team with front end website programming, blog development, mobile site programming, and email campaign development. I also assist Hugh with support and have been known to knock out blog posts or two.
Places She Loves
Right now my heart is in the West. I just took a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas and can't even begin to describe the beauty. Driving West on I-70 is truly breathtaking. From the mountains in Northern Arizona to Arches National Park in Utah, to my favorite stop Zion National Park, it was a trip I'll never forget. Once in Vegas I jumped
from an airplane and had a Halloween wedding. For my next adventure we're off to Argentina.
A Success Story
I think my biggest success at Atlas is that I've been able to understand our mission: building vital communities. I've helped design and/or program lots of
excellent websites and digital assets that I really believe are helping build communities all over the country.
