About Alan Gerow
Being somewhat nomadic, I love exploring new places and learning what the soul of an area is through personal experience. I started creating websites and web applications as an after-school hobby. Very quickly, this hobby developed into a degree, a set of skills and a deep love for merging art and technology. Before joining the Atlas team, I fine-tuned my skill set by contracting to develop websites and interfaces, as well as offering tech support and web development for Harvard Medical School.

Places He Loves
Having traveled in or through every U.S. state and some international destinations, I've developed a love for places. I find that each place has a very unique soul and is great for it's own reasons. Currently there are 10 states left until I've hit them all.
A Success Story
Over the last couple years I have worked to fine tune our GIS application, Atlas Insite, which has been a key tool for our communities. Currently I am developing
a brand new interface for clients called AtlasOne. I really believe this will be a one of a kind application that will change for the better how economic development organizations are able to recruit and retain businesses.
